How do you get album/cd artwork to import in iTunes?

I'm having some issues getting the album artwork to import into my iTunes library so I can get it to display on my iPod. Do I need to use Windows Media Player to import the album then convert it from WMV to ACC once transfered to iTunes?

I use MediaMonkey to put the album artwork into my MP3's. It uses Amazon to find the images. I just check the option to save the artwork inside of the MP3. THen when you load the songs into iTunes, it automatically processes the artwork.

Have you tried having iTunes search for the album art for you?

I have noticed that if the info that you have for the file differs too much (and that too much aint much) from what iTunes Stores has it as, it won't download. It did get a lot of mine, but a bunch of my stuff didn't come from CDs, so it doesn't always have enough information for itunes to work.

That's why I embed the artwork into the Mp3. iTunes/windows media frequently attach the wrong image to the music.

Thanks, i downloaded mediamonkey last night and it is great. I have been reaaranging my files and itunes will not rescan a folder once you add it and if I change something in iTunes it does not embed but with mediamonkey I only have to do changes once to a file.
