How do you get a very high limit credit card if you're a student?

I want a credit card for the security.

I'm currently a student in college, so obviously even though my credit history is good, it's young, and my income isn't enough for the cards that others highly recomment, like the Citibank Dividends, etc.

But I'm doing business that requires me to make payments of over $10,000 or even $20,000, perhaps once every two weeks.

Is there any way I can get a credit card that has a limit this high for someone like me? I've looked into business cards, but they require a business history before you can get them, and since I'm just a startup....

write checks. plus, your income isn't enough for the cards that others highly recomment anyway

I'd actually call the credit card companies and explain your situation to them.

you got a business... get a business card..
which means you got to legalize your business.. register with city/state.. and tehn you can have a card that's independent of your personal credit history.. which basically means you are making a corporation.

was FirstUSA, now Chase. Just got it. Didn't try at all. Was 25 at the time.

what is this logic? you want a cc for security, then you want a cc for business purposes.

I have about $20000-30000 unsecured credit and I am a student.

try a american express charge card.
