im almost halfway there. took me a shade over 2 years. about 97% of the posts are from work though. funny thing is that it doesnt even feel like 5k. but im also more particular in the threads i post in. i always try to add something new or refreshing to a thread. i fail a lot. 😀
 
It's really not that hard though. I average less than 8 posts per day. Hell, one could easily post 20 in less than an hour...
 
I average 14 posts a day. 95% of them are made at work.

plus, you don't have to actually read the thread to respond to it 😛

yeah, but those posts are just annoying ... and then you never actually LEARN anything!
 
Yeah it took me a VERY long time of neffing to get to where I am.. i don't understand how some have gotten 2x Lifer status! ( 20K posts )

I like the way Skoorb described it a loooong time ago when he broke some post milestone (probably 20k). He said something to the effect that some people watch a lot of TV, he posts on internet message boards. Which is worse? IMO, the TV watching (although they really do need to find some of way of posting while kickin' back on a comfy couch 😛 ).
