how do you forward mail to people?

my housemates moved out and i have several checks from the university, bills from verizon, etc. i'm changing their address on USPS. but how do i forward the mail that i already have? what do i do?

Alternately, you "could" put all the mail in a flat-rate USPS Priority Mail envelope. Would cost a few bucks, but gets it there in the bundle.

Personally, I'd just write the new address on things. One of the things built in to the cost of postage is a mail-forwarding service. Go USPS! ;)

If there are important things like checks.. maybe you should just spend a few cents and resend them yourself.

Err.. it should have been their responsibility to go to the Post Office and fill out a mail forwarding form. It's not your problem anymore. Return to sender. Of course, that's just me being an ass.
