I am having problems installing windows NT 4.0 over the windows 95. I inserted in the cd and click on the install win NT 4.0. However, I get a error page that says:

"Setup was unable to install Windows NT Boot Loader."
"Ensure that your C: drive is formatted and that the drive is not damaged."
"Setup cannot continue. Press ENTER to exit."

C: is the harddrive and it is not damaged.

I bet your drive is formatted FAT32. NT 4 cannot read FAT32 partitions. You'll have to delete and recreate/format the drive. (Boot off the NT CD)

Yeah the fat32 thing, you can get a driver so nt4 supports fat32 but its not recomended to run it on the boot partition.

If you want to format then just boot of the cd and go through the install process, it gives the option on deleteing and formating the partition
