How do you flash bios with win2k2

Simple Question:

How do I flash my mainboards (Soltek DRV-75) BIOS if the only OS I am running is Windows 2000 Professional?

Thanks

I don't think the OS is pertinent. You need to make a boot diskette... any version of DOS will do I believe. There are boot images on the net if you need one. Then you need the flashing program and the .bin file. And then you flash! 🙂

Go to the DOS prompt on a Win95/98 machine and type > format A:/S that will make a clean boot floppy with only the Command.com files. Then download and unpack the flash utility & the BIOS update files. Boot with the floppy and go for it.
