I'm in a similar situation...28, have many different interests but not one area that I'm particularly passionate about. I think I'd be happy with an 8 hr./day desk job that gives me enough time for hobbies outside of work.

Ummm, dude, you've already grown up.

I think I'm roughly in the same situation though at 22. A couple months back, I finished my bachelor in civil engineering, and haven't been able to find a job in that field yet. The major issue is that I don't really want a job in that field except for the money and experience to help me do something else.

The 'dream' of the moment is to sell my soul and become a lawyer. This goes against everything I've previously believed in cause I think lawyers are evil, but there is something appealing to me about it. In addition, I want a Masters, but don't want an MBA or M.Eng. If I do end up going the lawyer route, I'm thinking criminal prosecution, but it'll be hard to find a job since most of them are with the Crown (D.A. for you), as far as I know at least. Maybe legal consultant.

Being grown up is all relative to experience. It takes some people longer to get exposure. I'm from a rural area. I might be 50 when I grow up.
