How do you feel about USPS Priority mail?

i just shipped a few packages out from deals i am invovled in (via FS/FT). i went to track the packages and one says it arrived. the other says there is no record. the other tells me the package was electronically notified by the shipper or shipping partner on January 28, 2002 at 10:13 pm to expect your package for mailing. <--- WTH does that mean? all these were shipped on the same day and all go in the same direction...WEST! is it normal for USPS to be all out of whack like that? i mean...i've had some mail disappear before, but that was with first class mail. i pay an extra $4 and i still get the saem ratty service. that kinda blows. :disgust:

Over the last few years, I've shipped thousands of packages using Priority Mail. They've lost a grand total of one. Their online system sucks, though.

yeah i haven't lost anything priority mail...i lost some first class. and yes, the question of my post should really be "does their tracking system suck arse?"

me too, it's pretty good.. but the one they lost was coming to be and they other one they lost, it was sitting in a warehouse because the idiot gave me the wrong address, and it got return

It's my shipping method of choice. The people at my post office are used to seeing me on a weekly basis.
