How do you feel about guns at the workplace?

the company i work at already has a specific policy not allowing guns on company propterty. this was prompted by missouri changing the concealed weapons laws

i don't really care either way
 
There are guns at my workplace pretty often, but the policy is that they're under the charge of the firearms handler (and his assistants, if he has one or more). They're only handed out right before they're going to be used and then collected again afterwards.

I'm happier that way. I'd be more worried if random people were just playing with them.
 
I guess it really depended on the environment. But for most cube farm/office environments, I just don't see how bringing a gun into work could provide any tangible benefit. If you worked in a total ghetto or a place that had a history of violent crime, it'd be different story. But most places don't fit that description.

Keep it at home. Keep it in the car. Just keep it out of the office.
 
It would be nice if at least a few people had firearms here. That way when "Red Dawn" happens IRL, we wouldn't be quite as helpless.
