how do you enable DMA from win 2k?

i have a burner and i formatted..but i need to take it out of PIO mode and put it in DMA, i did it like 4 days ago and i already forgot how. where do i go to get this menu?

device manager -> ide controller -> x channel -> prop -> settings -> dma if avail

control panel -> system -> hardware TAB -> device Manager -> IDE ATA/ATAPI controller select the primary or secondary channel.

Just as a note, I have an older 2x2x6x CDRW burner that won't burn while in DMA mode. It works fine in PIO however.
