How do you eat vienna sausage?

my husband used to fry 'em in a pan and then melt a slice of cheese on top and.. I honestly can't remember what he did with them after that, I'm sure he ate them.. by themselves? maybe in a sandwich?

it's been so long I don't remember.. he stopped doing it once we could afford real food.
