I think you're the norm, actually, in my experience. I use both feet since that's the way I learned from my Dad. Right foot for both gas and brake when in a manual, but that doesn't happen too often...

What if there was an "accident".. a crazy driver hits you? You fall asleep? Whatever.. who knows .. no insurance is bad idea man.
