I start on the bottom right.

Bottom Right -> Top -> Bottom Left -> Right -> Left -> Bottom Right

Maybe it's because I'm a lefty???

I do the same thing. I don't recall ever seeing anyone do it a different way, but I haven't exactly been looking for it either.

I generally start at the bottom left, but I can start at any point and still wind up with a star.

Horizontal bar left to right, down to bottom left, up to top point, down to bottom right, finally up to the start at horizontal left.

Bottom-left for me...

I had a substitute teacher in high school that drew stars in a very unorthodox manner. She would draw a shape similar to the Star Trek insignia, then overlay an upside down triangle. It's hard to describe in writing, but I'm sure you will be able to visualize it if you give it a moment.

Needless to say, she was dumbfounded and then embarrassed when the students showed her the right way.
