How do you disable country specific URL redirect?

Hey guys,

So I'm trying to take a look at newegg.com but it keeps auto redirecting me to newegg.ca no matter what I type in the URL box. Sometimes this happens for other sites too like MSN.ca vs MSN.com. I'm using Google Chrome. Is there a way to disable this so I can manually determine the site I want to access?

It's kind of frustrating. It's like driving a car on a specific path but the steering wheel keeps turning you elsewhere against your wishes. Thanks in advance.

First check if your IP location is correctly reported. Go to the GeoBytes website. It's an IP Address Map lookup service and it will tell you the location that your IP address is being reported as; i.e., you're in Topeka, Kansas but your IP address is being incorrectly reported as Toronto, CA.

Delete cookies, that helps sometimes.
