Just turned out that way. Most of the time you can't help what you start to enjoy. I went into school doing Chem Eng. I got my first computer for my dorm room and it didn't work. Started tikering and reading and before you know, Comp Eng major!

eh .. don't declare until after your first year. I ALWAYS listen to freshman and their majors and then hear about the change the next day. Just pick something that excites you or don't mind doing for the REST OF YOUR LIFE.

I started in Computer Engineering cause I thought I would like it. I mean, I like messing around with computers, doing some programming every now and then, etc.. then I had to take Physics for the major and hated the living hell it was. Hated doing programming that wasn't fun and was assigned.. just hated it. I'm now majoring in Criminology and plan to double major into Pysch because I enjoy it. Enjoyed mock trial in high school, so I'll see where this takes me.

Seriously, do something you enjoy, not for how much money you may get for what you major in.
