I've been going out with my gf for nearly 7 years now and a weird thing has happened lately.. Other girls are attracted to me now while they never were in the past....I'm still the fat ugly dude I've always been but now that I've become far more ambitious in my quest to be a film director, well, let's just say that women are far flirtier around me... I guess they find my passion attractive and I think some of the actresses and other people I work with think that I'm a bit of a rebel filmmaker.. here's a quote from one of their blogs (i stumbled upon it)
I think people are viewing me as oddly someone to look up to so I'm getting in these odd situations when I'm having meetings with my crew/actors.. Odd brief looks, odd flirtatious remarks, etc.. sh1t i'm not used to.. How does one deal with that? I adore my gf but this is all new to me and kinda exciting.. Really, I'm the biggest geek and now feel like a rockstar but I don't want to take advantage of it - it's freakin' hard!
Life lesson, kiddies: Finance jobs suck ass. Don't take one thinking that you'll make enough money to pursue your artistic ambitions on the side. It never ends up like that. Those jobs suck your soul away. Don't just take my word for it - ask Sam, who directed some student shorts I was in. Ask Sam's friends who were in the corporate world. Ask any NYC actor. Anyway, I'm babbling, and about the worst things...).
