LMAO!

I follow the instructions ... I have added an egg before ... I like to add extra extra water!!!

I like some of these ideas.

I appreciate people who know real Japanese ramen. Ramen isn't fvcking $2 cup and noodles or even the Asian crap you can buy at the supermarket. Ramen also isn't going to the Korean place and watching them toss in Shin Ramen from the supermarket. It's the texture you get from cooking pork bones overnight for 18 hours or so and then getting that thick broth. That's why a good bowl of Japanese Ramen can cost you $10 or more. It's simply quality. No noodle, not even Pho can touch the sophisticatedness of Japanese Ramen.

Yup yup. The GF has made ramen on a couple occasions, usually ends up costing more than just going to a ramen shop haha

And, being vietnamese, it hurts me to agree with your statement. Ramen > Pho

Didn't read through all posts but here's one of the recipes we make with ramen...

- Boil Noodles per directions adding the packet to the water while boiling.
- Drain Noodles
- Melt butter in the pan
- Add noodles and toss
- Add Mrs. Dash (Original, or Spicy, or seasoning to taste)
- Sometimes we'll add Parmesan cheese

I've also made "mac & cheese" using the ramen noodles and a slice or two of American cheese.
