Boil water with special seasoning added (recipe is a secret!).
Toss the noodles and finely diced green onions in and let them cook through.
Drain completely and add mayo, mustard and worcestershire sauce. Stir to coat noodles.

Eat.

Heat up some water in a largish bowl.
Crush package of noodles.
Pour the crushed noodles and flavoring into water and stir.
Heat again.
Forget about it for 30 minutes.
Come back, heat up for a minute.
Eat.

By that time, the noodles are thoroughly saturated, to the point of just about being mush, just the way I like them. :)

Boil as instructed on package, but use cheap BEER instead of water. Believe me, it's amazing. Tell your friends.

lol, man Butters kicks ass.

Anyway here is my lame way of cooking noodles that no one else seems to do. I ate this every morning for months when I got my first job and had no money.

-Put noodles into flat plastic container and just cover with water. None of that crunching up the noodles crap.
-Microwave for 3 minutes, pour out most of water.
-Add seasoning and eat.

Cheap, quick, easy, and tasted fine to me.

When you say add an egg, do you mean a raw egg to boiling water? Or a cooked egg to the ramen when its done?

Also, if you've taken high school chemistry, you would know that water doesn't go above 100 degrees. So it wouldn't make sense to make it "hotter". At the point where the water boils, thats the hottest its going to get. Unless you mean the pot itself

So, your chemistry class teaches that the boiling point of water is always 100 degrees regardless of the pressure? I certainly hope not. If it's a tight-fitting lid, then the pressure will increase and therefore increase the boiling point just like it would in a pressure cooker (which has a boiling point of about 120 degrees).

To the OP, you might as well start the boiling process with the lid on. I see no advantage to boiling with it off and then putting it on. Also, it won't take a full five minutes to increase the pressure and therefore temperature of the boiling water. Also, once the lid comes off, the pressure will drop and you'll have 100-degree water again.

I like to spot fry it. Instructions:

Set opened ramen noodles on a plate close to stove
Heat 1 quart vegetable oil in large pan on stove to 300 degrees
Add 1 cup water.
Voila!

disclaimer: don't try this at home
