How do you cook ramen noodles?

Here's How I cook mine:

Boil 3 cups of water
Put soup power while boiling
Let the water boil for 5 minutes (with lid on) <--- this step is very important. Higher temperature = better noodle texture
Put noodles in
after the water boils again, put an egg, chopped kimchi, green onions, and sausage

Serve.
 
Boil some arbitrary amount of water.
Put in Noodles and all at the same time.
Crack 2 eggs, and add Spam, Green Onions, and rice cakes
Boil for 5 more minutes
Enjoy


Also, if you've taken high school chemistry, you would know that water doesn't go above 100 degrees. So it wouldn't make sense to make it "hotter". At the point where the water boils, thats the hottest its going to get. Unless you mean the pot itself

You're not steaming the noodles and the water isn't gonna be boiling any higher than 100...

Me recipe (it's a cop out)

Bol water
Put in noodles
-Get bowl, add left overs from night before. Add scallions and soy sauce
-Heat up bowl of leftovers for ~1:30
When noodles are done, first add some noodle water into bowl, then scoop in noodles.
Mix it around a bit
Eat deliciousness
 
Boil water + add to lunch in a cup

That's how I cook RAMEN noodles. I cook other noodles in a big pot and let them rest in the water while the temperature rises; they taste better that way. Sometimes I'll add a slice of butter, which provides a different flavor. ALWAYS salt the water pot

Drain the water but not too much so the noodles are dry. But 95% of it
Put in seasoning and soy sauce, stir well

you nailed it with draining most of the water, this is especially good on the Creamy Chicken kind. I like sweet sometimes so I use Teriyaki sauce instead of Soy. Both are excellent.

 
1. Open package.
2. Take out Flavor Packet.
3. Break up dry noodles into sheets
4. Sprinkle flavoring on noodles
5. Consume.

Or
1. Cook noodles in a little water.
2. Stir fry cooked noodles in a little oil.
3. Add chopped scrambled egg/veggies/meat.
4. Add soy sauce, throw away packet.

 
An old roommate of mine had a recipe that involved Kool-Aid or Jello packets for flavoring.

He also tried to cook regular pasta noodles by putting them in a frying pan with no water. He wasn't very bright.
 
I use as little water as possible. Just enough to cover the ramen brick (if that). I let the water boil and put in the brick and powder. Stirring occasionally. Let the water boil off or into a thick creamy sauce. Serve over steamed rice.
 
Boil the noodles with 1/2-3/4 of the reccomended water, when they absorb it all and are dry, mix in seasoning packet, pour into skillet with oil or margerine and fry up with some eggs and sausage.

Boil water with special seasoning added (recipe is a secret!).
Toss the noodles and finely diced green onions in and let them cook through.
Drain completely and add mayo, mustard and worcestershire sauce. Stir to coat noodles.

Eat.

2. while noodles are boiling, cut up and stir fry spam in another pan
3. drain noodles when soft
4. add cooked noodles to fried spam
5. add lots of soy sauce, enough to turn it all brown
6. add sugar, fish sauce, and sliced onions
7. enjoy!

That sounds about as appetizing as eating warm cat shit.
 
I stir-fry my ramen noodles. Boil in to half done, then stir fry with some teriyaki marinated chicken, top shit.
 
I put the noodle pack and flavor with a touch of soy sauce and a tiny bit of other spices (such as oregano) in a microwave bowl, cover it with tap-hot water (running it until it is hot first), then nuke it till the water has boiled a bit. I then add an ice cube, let it melt the cube, stir, and eat/drink the resultant soup. Not bad, if only eaten once in a while.
