How do you convert 8mm tapes to VHS?

But I'd record them to the computer and burn them to a DVD. That's what we're working on right now with a bunch of really old home movies.

Are these 8mm reals or 8mm tapes (older camcorder tech)?

If they are the tapes, I can put them on DVD for you for cheap.

i know this.. what i'm not so sure about is where to connect them. i have a 8mm tape player and a vcr, where do i connect them to on the back of my tv?

Thost adapters aren't for 8mm tapes. They're for VHS-C tapes.

8mm player to vcr, vcr to tv, set tv to vcr input, press play on 8mm player and record on vcr, watch the screen, press stop when you want to stop.
