Wife and I use a Landice treadmill at home. I like the temps to be about 70-72F and at least one small fan (12" tabletop oscillating) to blow directly on me. The wife has two fans blowing on her and likes the temps to be <66F.
I understand that keeping core temp from getting to high during 1-2 hours on the tread but I remember this science show on PBS a few years back where a scientist was conducting research on the benefits of cooling the hands using chilled water that was just above the capillary clamping temp. They had good data that allowed the treadmiller to greatly go longer on the treadmill with the hands being cooled down. I'm not even sure if many even know that their limbs act as radiators.
