Yeah, I was always a double-click kinda guy, then for some reason I decided to turn on single-click (Icons, etc..) last night ... I'm afraid it might be starting to grow on me ... It makes me feel like a newbie or something

Double. I've tried single and I like it, but so many things are double click no matter what (AIM, MSNm, Outlook, etc) that I got sick of it and went back.

I have mouse mouse wheel set up as double click. On links and such I use my left mouse button to single click, and on icons on my desktop I press my mouse wheel once to double click.
