I hate every program that keeps track of your last opened file, ESP when they do not give you the option to clear such information.

I dont think tweakUI covers this does it?

Is there anything else that is better than TweakUI?

Xteq's X-Setup gives you the option to clear MRU's (Most Recently Used) w/ Windows Media Player, Winzip, alot of other things, plus about 3,000 other tweaks (3,000 may be slightly exaggerated, but you get the picture..... -kd5-

If possible, remove WMP 7.x and run 6.4. No silly, stupid, useless history file with no "clear" option. Thank u Microsoft for writing useless software.

That's odd.. I run 6.4 on my Win2K box, and I think it was there by default. Once you've uninstalled 7.1, try playing a video and see what opens it, without first trying to install 6.4 again.

Here's another program that will clear out Windows Media Player "recent URLs", along with WinZip's, temp files, cookies, a few other things, and it's only 364kb: Disk Cleaner 1.4.0a -kd5-

Sorry, just realized it's only for Win 95/98/ME.......

that X-setup program is pretty nifty. A more muscled version of tweakUI

nice!

The Xteq thing will clear the history but I'm not sure if it prevents a history. It would suck to have to clear it manually all the time.

I would agree on that if it weren't for the fact he said significant other. Why pr0n, you've got a perfectly good source as it is! :p

Explain to her that you are "researching" to make your relationship "better".

Where else are you going to find out information like this? Not the library ;)
