They are trying (without much luck, I might add) to pick apart the definitions of speaker parts, and their names, as defined by common use and the trade.

In the arena (pun) of sound, I do. Because if he wanted a cone and asked for a diaphragm, he would be disappointed. And if he left the building, it would be doubly so, as those items are usually not returnable.
