how do you change your minifeed settings on facebook?

I don't see a section where you can edit what shows on your minifeed

If you add a friend, does it automatically show on your minifeed now? Is that the default setting?
 
yep. fb changed the security settings so that it's now impossible to not auto publish... what crockshit
 
lite.facebook.com eliminates a ton of that crap from your view, but it still broadcasts it to other people.
