Hi,

I'm using a KT7-RAID, but I don't see anywhere in the BIOS where you can change the PCI latency. Can you do it from within Windows 98? Anyone no how?

Thanks

I know that I am not of a help by asking this, but what is this PCI latency? Is it the same thing as L2 Cache latency?

I don't really know what PCI latency it, but some person said changing it might help a problem I've got. I don't think you can change it in the KT7 BIOS.

Most BIOS have that switch in the Plug and Play section. PCI latency is the number of clocks that happen. Default is usually 64 on some mobos and 32 on others. It relates to timing in the PCI slots. Suggest leaving it at your mobo's default number. That is what your manual recommends. It can't be changed in Windows. It is purely a BIOS function.
