how do you celebrate a momentous acheivement?

do you like to shout your accomplishments from the rooftops, and have a party with friends?

or do you like to keep it to yourself, smiling quietly while contemplating the successful endeavours you have completed?

it seems that sharing good fortunes and great accomplishments with others could be seen in the wrong light, so i typically do the latter - keep it to myself, maybe buy myself a little gift as a celebration. nothing too fancy.
