How old are you, how old is she, what do you two normally argue about?
I can get into arguements with my little sister ... nothing helps since we're both stubborn and bull headed.
18 / 13-14
well we argue about how she often refuses to go to restaurants with us (she is fine if we eat at home though) and that leads in to time management issues
Could it be a self esteem issue, thats the reason she doesn't want to go out in public? She is at that age, and even though you weren't like that, you also were not female, so you really can't compare the two.
Seriously though, try to look her in the eyes, and tell her in a calm voice, to calm down, there is no reason to yell. But you have to be willing to listen to her, or it won't work. And, if she won't calm down? Walk away. If she is constantly doing this to get her way though, maybe your parents have to step in and counter with her, ie, if she won't get ready to go out when they want her to, then maybe they won't take her somewhere when she wants to go, or take their time and make her late for what she wants to do in return. She is at a very difficult age, and sometimes, being a little mean is the only way to get it through their heads how they are treating you.
Ugh, my daughter will be there in 4 years.......
