How do you browse?

This is inspired by my disdain for websites that resize my browser window. I'm very particular about it and whenever a website resizes my window or opens a full-size window, I throw up a little.

For now, there are just 3 options...

edit1: btw if anyone has found a free/lightweight program/addon that disables this resizing madness in IE, let me know. I hate firefox. Yeah, that's right. =P (bad prior experience left a really sour taste in my mouth)

edit2: added dual display option

home: maximized
work: specific size because I frequently have several work-related windows open at once and need to see them at the same time.

In a window around maybe 10x8, on a monitor running 12x10.

in firefox theres a feature where you hit F11. thats really full screen
IE as well

Gurck: I read that in my earlier search fiasco. That's why I put the "I hate firefox" in there =). If only the google toolbar could prevent resizing and search m-w.com instead of dictionary.com, I would be happy.

I browse with the window taking the whole screen, but it's not maximized. That way I can change the size when it suits my needs w/o having to click restore.

Wow - I hadn't realized so many people browse maximized... I always wondered what the point of virtual desktop software was. I run a window about 1100x800 on a 2001FP. That way I can just click from window to window without going to my start bar (which I keep hidden).
