How do you block ads in firebox?

Hi, can anyone tell me how to block ads in firebox? I don't mean popups, but actual ads displayed on a site that you are browsing.
I have seen a screenshot someone using that feature, but can't seem to find the option in firefox.

thanks

never seen or heard of it... or fathom how its possible.. how owuld firefox be able to discern between an ad and non-ad graphic and selectively block it? a HOST file swap will prevent ads from rendering

Install the Adblock extension. It's a lot more useful than the built in block images function.

Any way it could get rid of those ads on the left?
