How do you become and elite member?

You are lucky enough to become one of the chosen ones. Or unlucky for that matter.
 
yeah... but how do you get chosen... and if you do get chosen... what privledges or responsibilities are handed to you with that title?
 
I don't know. I keep sending my money to that official Elite membership address IBhacknU was kind enough to send me, but I still haven't heard back from the mods.

1. Try to be constructive and supportive of the forum community
3. Don't cause yourself to get banned
4. Don't incite bad behavior in others
6. Don't start topics which you know will get locked
7. Join a Distributed Computing team as part of Team AnandTech
8. If you are a trader, be an honorable and dependable one
9. Don't post just to raise your post count
12. If you can help in the technical forums, do so, but be sure you know what you're talking about

No guarantees, but that profile seems to fit a lot of the elite members. (not speaking for myself)
 
kranky, rules 3,4, and 6 doesn't seem to apply to some of the elites i've come to know...



and #9 seems to be the biggest violation of some of the elites here...😉

Ah, crap, I was afraid that would happen. Every time I try to sneak the real secrets to being an elite member into a reply, they strip them out of the post. I'm sure you can tell which ones are missing, vi_edit.
