without her seeing it as a date?! I work at a pizza place, and really like the people there. Most of the girls there are really fun to talk (and flirt 😀) with. Well here's the dilema ... I'm becoming good friends with most of the people there, and I'd really like to hang out with them. BUT I don't want to give the impression that I'm asking for a date. Although, yea I might eventually want to step it up, and go beyond friendship ... that really isn't my intention right now. So night after night for a few weeks now, I've either gone home early, or hung out with other friends. What to do?! Read first question.

That's the easiest part... you've gotten rid of the angst. A casual request for lunch will do fine. And no pizza.
 
Ask them to hang out with your other friend for acouple times and then you can ask your work friends to hang out with you.

You can't really change the perceptions of the girl... but usually a small request like... wanna study together or wanna get a drink/coffee/etc after work?
 
Step 1.) say "Hey, whaddaya doin this weekend?"
Step 2.) wait for her reply, where she says something like "Oh, I dunno, I don't have any plans yet."
Step 3.) say "You wanna go do something?"
Step 4.) ...
Step 5.) Profit!

Statistically...no you won't 😉 Once you've been a friend for a while you're probably staying a friend.

Go out as a group with a few people it will seem less date like, don't pay for their food/drink, etc. Something like "hey me and a couple friends are getting together this weekend to play lawn darts and scrabble, want to come?"
 
Yeah...I guess I don't really care about that part anymore, since I'm very open and casual with my female friends...I'll ask anybody to a movie, dinner, stuff that would seem "intimate" otherwise, but as long as you don't suggest that it's a serious thing, she shouldn't see it as such. Just be really casual about it, like it just occured to you...if need be, just state that there's nothing behind it, no motive, just to hang out, have fun, get to know each other.

Granted, now I'm having absolutely no luck finding a new girl, after being single for 2 months, and having one of the worst breakups evar. I've decided that I'm the ultimate guy-friend to girls...don't let this happen to you. All my friends are decently good looking, some of them the best looking asian girls on campus, but I'm certain that none of them would ever think of me in a way more than just "Joe".

I'd be more specific. Instead of the 'we should all...' which never turns into a scheduled time. Just come out and say, hey, next Fri at 7, let's meet (insert other names here) at (insert name of cool place). And then proceed to get the others mentioned to show up, too!

walk up to her and say "hey you wanna hang out some time, do somthing like a movie or somthing as friends?"

works for me.
 
i think i'm the same way... i want to have that dating feeling, but not really be dating. but it sucks because the girl will sometimes think you actually do like her, then it's kind of weird.

i dunno.

and group activities.... that's like what you would do for a girl that you want to work your way towards a relationship with.

i think it is pretty much up to the girl. i bet a lot of girls have this same problem... how do you do stuff with a guy without them starting to like you?
