how do u know if u r overwheight ?

Anton - 5'5/120 is a healthy weight... a common way to check your weight would be the BMI - Body Mass Index - although I'm not a big fan of it (you can be 5'5 and 160 pounds due to body building, and it'd call you obese), I do accpet it as a common way to tell if you're within an acceptable range or not (not really good for weight lifters though).

You can usually tell if you're fat or not by just looking at yourself... you should have an idea of what fat is and what thin is 🙂

can you see your feet? do you breathe heavily? by the sound of it, you dont sound overweight at all. search around online, im sure there is a chart of recommended body weight by height/sex. by definition being overweight is being over this recommended weight by X% (i dont remember the number)

Take your weight in kilos, and divide in by your lenght (in meters) squared.
> 25: you're overweight
>20, < 25: good weight
< 20: underweighted

So for me: 70/(1,92)^2= <20

Ideal Body Weight (IBW) male = 50kg + 2.3kg for each inch > 5 ft
Ideal Body Weight (IBW) female = 45.5kg + 2.3kg for each inch > 5 ft

I use these formulas at work all the time when dosing certain antibiotics. By these standards we are all fat though. I shoud be 160 pounds. I think I was 165 when I was 17.

If you start backing up and hear a beeping noise, you're probably overweight. 😀

Combine BMI and fat percentage. If your BMI is too high, but your fat percentage is low, then you're muscular and don't have to worry about it. BMI, in and of itself, doesn't tell the whole story.

For males, a body fat percentage of under 20% is accetable, with 10% being excellent. Professional boxers generally try to aim for 5%. Women have a slightly higher acceptable percentage because they usually have two large repositories for fat on their chests (which is a good thing, mind you).

Get any fasion magazine. If you don't like like the people in there you are overweight. You are fat. You are worthless. You are ugly.

No you're not fat at all, soon you'll be asking "do my hips look big to you" or "how do I look in this outfit?" I can tell you that your head is disprpotionately large to to this size of your body 😀 *god send lighting bolt down on dweeb* Ow, j/k

<< well , subj ...

That doesn't sound over weight at all but you might need to tone up a bit.

My Doctor said I was overweight.
I said I'd like to get a second opinion.
He said "OK, you're ugly too."

You must look at yourself and see if you are overweight. See if you have fat forming around the stomach area. If there is fat there...then you have to get rid of it. But it depends on whether you weight lift or not. If you do, then you will gain weight fromm muscle. If you are not muscular then you are slightly overweight...
