How do touch sensitive switches work.

I asked this question in the cases forum, but did not get an answer. If this not the appropriate place for this question, please forgive. The new Cooler Master Cosmos RC1100 computer case has a new power button that is touch sensitive, there is no button to press in. Anybody know how this works? Thanks for any response.
