How do these people hold jobs?

OK, I work at a small graphic design company. A coworker of mine is designing an ad to be printed in a local newspaper. So, she calls up the newspaper's advertising department, and asks the lady there for the size of a 1/4 page ad (actually I forget how big the ad was suppsoed to be, but it really doesnt matter).

So, the lady at the newspaper, says "hold on, let me get my ruler" She then proceeds to measure the ad in on old copy of the newspaper, saying "hmm... what's the third mark past the inch? um, hold on, I need a better ruler". When all is said and done, she comes up with a different measurement than the same size ad was when it was printed last year. The reason reason my coworker called in the first place, was because last year, she designed the ad at the size this woman told her, and it printed at the wrong size. This year, she comes up with different sizes, and from the sound of it, she doesn't even know how to read a ruler.

Keep in mind that this woman's held this job for at least a year....

In fact, if I'm the boss, it's probably better if you can't, anyways.

If 98% of coporate America is stupid, then you should have no problem becoming a multi-millionaire in record time. Good luck to you sir.

I like the people that cant even count and work at registers. If your bill is $6.52 and you give them $10.52, they cant figure it out because they already punched in that you gave them $10.00. Talk about crazy dumb...

There was one cashier that was constantly giving me too much change and I would always give it back. After a while, I decided that if the employer is going to put this person behind a register without her knowing how to count, that I would keep the change. It is going to cost the company that to learn their lesson.

Those people are great. Like I've seen people literally struggle over adding a buck fifty to $3.12. This one time the chick struggled for about 10-15 seconds and then finally got a calculator out.

These people crack me up....One time I was in a Hardee's drive thru line and had a meal that cost $4.25. I handed the girl a $5 bill. She looked at it, then went to consult a chart they had on the wall for figuring change before she handed me three quarters....

Hahaha. I worked over the summer as a cashier supervisor at Marc's. One customer came up to me to complain about numerous mistakes made by a cashier on her order. At one point in her rant, she said: "She'd do a lot better if she could chew gum and think at the same time."
