How do southerners live without snow?

They make their own snow, cause they have a plethora of hot women prancing around in barely nothing. Not including the very very hot/sexy accents that makes a guy go wild. Who needs snow--when us men can just make our own--and women can enjoy it too.

:shocked:

I live in the "south" (SC), but I still get a nice change in the seasons. This morning it was 19 degrees outside when I headed to work.

I would hate to live in FL though.

Haven't you ever been south when it DID snow?

They can't drive in that stuff for anything. :Q
That's because it's not snow, when it does fall. It's sleet. If it does snow, that melts during the day and re-freezes at night making the roads a wonderful ice patch. Last year we had a 1/4 inch of precipitation and it paralyzed the area for a couple of days. Even the people from the northern states couldn't/wouldn't drive.

Snow != ice.

There days were it drops below freezing are uncommon as it is, a whole day (or more) below freezing+precip. is rare in the south in genenral.

I get a kick out of people down south who can't handle driving on an inch of snow 😉 Hell where I live snowfall has to be greater then 8 inches to call of school and the never close where I work. I just take the snowmobile in if we get hit with a blizzard.

HELL NO keep your freakign snow and your cold weather and shove it where the sun dont shine..
oh wait... thats the North...

well keep it anyway!

I live in the south becasue of the weather no other reason..
If i could afford to move to the tropics full time and have a job I damn sure would
Ill enjoy my 70 degree Chritsmas Day and go to the beach on my Motorcycle thanks..

:cookie: Another tropics lover here.

I grew up in the North until the age of 13 so I've seen my share of snow and dreadful temperatures. I don't miss snow at all. In fact I can't wait to move back to FL where I can once again wear shorts in December and January. I can only do that once in awhile here in MS. Winter is pretty mild here but not nearly as mild as FL.

Indeed!

I lived in Midland TX for 2 years,

I worked at 7-11 and it snowed,I drove to work,and was ontime,the lady who was at work was going;
OMG how am I gonna get home!

She lived 3 blocks away,from that 7-11;I lived like 4 miles away.

I said to her,whats the big deal, I don't even have snow tires on my car,just summer tires.

Waah, sometimes it snows even in the South. 😉

How do northerners live in snow-induced crashes? oh, they don't!
You're originally from Canada, why do you even ask this? 😛
I live in the middle of BC and I can still see the grass 🙁

It's not the snow that affects southerners' driving. It's the 35 degree day that melts the snow and 25 degree night that freezes the slush (or sleet) into ice. Unless you have snow tires or chains; nobody can drive in that crap. The only people that have snow tires in the south are carpetbaggers who brought them from their previous home.

Houston = No snow 🙂

I like to visit snow, but not a daily thing. What do southerners do with no snow?

We barbeque outside in the sun, wearing shorts like yesterday when it was 73 degrees.

In Austin we got snow last year for 1 day. It melted before noon so we got just enough to tide us over the next 5 years.

Thanks for the snow our northern brethren!
