How do snow tires handle in the rain?

So how do they? Are they better than an all-season tire in the rain, or worse? Are they better than a summer-tire or worse?
 
Summer tyres are the best in rain (well most) all season are ok, most snow tyres arent very good, but the Michelin ArticAlpines are the best
