Oh yeah, I went through 3 hours of finding out stuff for a friend so he can install his network card. I then asked why, and he said to make his internet faster..

Blocked his ass for a week.

Chiwawa,

This is not so bad my friend. What is really bad is when people use search engine results as their own work and make everyone think they are a genius.

heh ... well as long as these people who just suck at the internet dont figure out ;)...

The great thing about DOS was that unless someone REALLY knew something about computers, people would stay away from a PC, cause that black screen with the flashing cursor would scare them away.

Now we have the Playskool OS which just invites people to poke and prod.

Hence the boom in technical support since the DOS days.

Computer life was so much easier back in those days. There wasn't a shortage of bandwidth, there weren't annoying popups, viruses didn't run rampant, and every old loser grandma in the world didn't have her own webpage to show off her new mole.
