Win ME isn't out yet, right? So how many people on this forum have it?

well I originally meant to ask, "So how do people on this forum have it" but the above question seems to be spawning an interesting thread

among those 95%, i think at least 60% got theirs from warez, which bring me with another question. how many of those 40% testers "release" their beta to the public?

A guy I work with has a copy because he beta tested Win ME. I will have my copy soon, one of the perks of the job. 🙂

Yes, I have. They're too premature to come to any conclusions, though. And as for WinMe, it has been posted (literally) at least once a day in one of the 10 newsgroups that it applies to.

Bragging rights, mainly. I've got just about every OS out there 🙂 Including the non-Biggie ones like QNX, Amiga, Unix, etc.

Now, you're talking, konichiwa, 😉

I still have Amiga 500 in my closet with bunch of games like Elite and Shadow of the beast, remember?

I like WinME over the flavors of Win9x. It's got some of the cool Win2000 interface and still plays games just fine. IMO, it's a nice step from Win98SE.

Where'd I get it? Usenet of course! I think the posters name was "Spawn".

I have a copy at work installed on an HP machine. I would never install it on my PC at home though because it would wipe out my boot partition and I'd have to reinstall Linux.

I was a beta tester for WinME. So, the good folks at MS decided to give me a copy. And, they also invited me back to beta test s'more! 🙂
