~~~~ How Do I? ~~~~
Continued from the previous thread.
Post here if you need some help or if you have some answers about getting various deals and promotions posted in Hot Deals. Please keep replies brief and on topic. Long discussions will only clog up the thread and make it difficult for anyone to find the answers they need.
Please do not post coupon numbers or links to sites that would be prohibited in other posts.
Requests for deals on specific items should be posted in the ~~~~ IWANNA ~~~~ thread.
Raves and rants about good and bad deals and vendors questions should be posted in the ~~~~ Brag & Moan ~~~~ thread.
Thank You, and enjoy yourselves here while lending a hand to your fellow forum members. 🙂
i want to get sbcyahoo dsl $30/month deal and i wanted to get the dell rebate at http://www.dell.com/us/en/dhs/topics/segtopic_internet.htm
i went through signing up. in the description of the promo, it says, "Plus get free activation (a $50 value) and a free self-installation kit (taxes and a $12.95 shipping and handling fee apply)." on the next page, i pick a kit "DSL Modem with PCMCIA FREE DSL equipment package includes an ADSL modem, PCMCIA and filters"
then on the next page, it has "Install Date and Time." i thought i was gonna self install with the kit? there is no choice for self install.
anyone who did this dell thing, care to shed some light? btw, why do they need my SSN? do i need to sign up with my parents name?
thanks!
would someone be willing to "mentor" me into these Dell deals? I'm absolutely newbish when it comes to the hotdeals. How to get the small business deals (I think). But I'm really looking to get into the Hot Deals as much as possable and need some help. Please PM me or catch me on AIM: SocoManny or MSN: mazubieta@msn.com
I'll try to compensate for yoru time! 🙂
This is kind of a where do I question as opposed to a how do I question. It is relevant to hot deals though.
At one time someone had shown me a site that listed the next weeks ad for Best Buy. I am wondering if any one here is aware of this site or similar sites?
How do I get the 20% off Kingston 3500 memory that is promoted and locked at the top of hot deals.
It was edited on 9-3 but the link takes you to offer expired.
uh, I was wondering if anyone knew about the office max surveys. Are they still handing out $10 off $20 coupons for the surveys? (@ survey). Also, I've been using the $10 off $10 printable and was wondering if I'd get into trouble if I posted a survey for bunch of reciepts that I had used the $10 off. Anybody have any idea?
Edit: Sorry, I had the answer, but Anandtech doesn't like talk about smoking, so I deleted my info. I don't smoke, but I did do a google search for the manufacturer of the cigs...
How do I get a Marlboro Miles Points catalog?
Call 1-800-Marlboro (1-800-627-5267). I think it's an automated response number, where you'll get the info.
There......see? You can answer a question without talking about cigarettes!!......umm......until now!! LOL
Hey, while I'm here, can anyone tell me how I can accomplish becoming:
1. an AMD distributor, so I might get the cpu chips at distributor rates? --or--
2. a Microsoft partner/distributor, at least to be able to get coa's??
I've done a bit of searching on AMD's and Microsoft's site, but haven't really stumbled across anything yet.
Any info would be appreciated, especially if there's minimum purchase requirements they have. TIA. 🙂
Here is a topic that, while not containing a hot deal, *could* contain several good deals if it were possible. (moderator move if not appropriate).
Since they locked my thread (without even so much as a "repost this at xxxxxxx"), I'll try it here...
My problem/question is with Amazon and Office Depot. I was trying to create a deal (especially with those stacked coupons earlier in the week) for two items: A 9600 Pro AIW and a Sigma Designs Hollywood Xcard .
When I go to Amazon, I notice that they have both of these items at decent normal prices.... from Office Depot (i.e. the Office Depot offers the item through Amazon?). But, neither of these items is available at officedepot.com directly! So my questions are:
Why is it that Office Depot offers some items through Amazon that they dont offer directly?
Is there a way to get the part nu./SKU from Amazon to look up at OD? Is there anyway to apply OD coupons to the items purchased from OD through Amazon?
To see what I mean, look up the All in Wonder 9600 Pro at Amazon. Look up Xcard at Amazon. Notice that they both come from Office Depot. Then go to Office Depot directly and try to find the items.
