How do I work out how my HDD is formatted?

You mean how to tell? Your defrag program should tell you - also SysInfo.

I think he means how to format the hard drive using FAT32 and how to format it using NTFS. If you're using Windows XP, it will allow you to format using NTFS before you install XP.

Thanks guys...Spunky actually nailed my question, I just installed Linux on a slave drive and want to access my mp3s from it. The Linux drive is 13.6 gb and I have nearly 7gb of mp3s so moving them wouldn't work out. Thanks again.
