How do I vastly increase my tolerance for alcohol?

Ns1

No Lifer
As the topic states. Easier to drink more over a slow period of time (say 10 beers/2 hours) or just hammer stuff down (say 10 shots in 5 minutes)

And is there such a way as doing this in a pleasant manner haha aka the least amount of puking possible?

Why would you ever want to? Only the idiots who end up at mcdonalds when they're 30 think you're a "big man" by having an extreme tolerance.

Not to mention you get drunk quicker and cheaper, what's to hate?

Seriously, why do you want to build up your tolerance. Are you so insecure that you have to prove your manliness by consuming massive amount of alcohol until you reach the zenith of uber manliness known as throwing up? Seriously...

Gradually increase your daily intake of alcohol, and begin to substitute alcohol for nutrition.

Hahaha until such time that you arrange your food groups by liquor and beer.

Ten shots in five minutes, eh?

Have a nice death, lightweight.

😛

That's nothing. My favorite drinking game is this (don't know the name):

3 seconds to take 1 shot
if you take more than 3 seconds, you drink that one, then have 5 seconds to take 2 more shots
keep taking 1 shot in less than 3 seconds from the previous shot

drink until someone misses the 2-shots in 5 seconds or you run out of hard liquor or someone passes out

I still don't understand how anyone can down say 10 beers in a night. I can't even drink that much water, much less beer.

It really isn't that much if you space it out and piss

Well, first of all he's admitted that he doesn't have a tolerance for alcohol.

Second, is he going to take ten shots and then call it a night at a frat party? Not a chance. He'll want to continue drinking, because that's what everyone does at a party until they get kicked out the door. In fact, he won't have a choice. People are going to force him to drink if he's a pledge. Then he'll even get the pleasure of cleaning up after everyone early the next morning.

You can get pretty sick off of beer, but it's nothing compared to what hard alky will do to you, Neuro. I'd advise you to take it as slow as possible until you realize just how different it really is.

i cannot confirm or deny anything

Start with a regiment of 1 beer shotgunned in the morning, 1 shotgunned for lunch, 1 for dinner. Do this until you're comfortable then up the amount by 1 beer per meal. Also practice by joining the century club (1 shot of beer per min for 100 mins) and renewing your membership every weekend. Tip : unless you want to be a fatass, drink light beer.

Good, because I'm pretty sure I didn't ask any questions. 😛

I am curious, what frat?

I pledged last fall. It was an...interesting quarter. Good luck to you.

Regarding tolerance:

Eat something (light)

I heard milk and oily substances providing a coating in the stomach and somehow that does something.

If your Asian take Pepcid AC.

In the end it will all work out.

Good luck to you and ignores those that give ya sh~t for it. After all they are just basing what they know from there roomates, friends of friends, etc etc and honestly have no idea what it is like and it is more then "paying for your friends"

Ayup.

beware the beer belly. 1 of my friends got really fat after he started drinking consistently, and i've now cut back on drinking b/c of his exp.

stop trying to defeat your genetic resistence to becoming an alcoholic. there is nothing good about drinking more.
