Becuase you are obviously trying to judge someone you dont know.
If i was computer retarded then i wouldnt have as many computer qualifications as i do.
When you can post a message that doesnt disolve into childish behavior the moment you type it, then come back and comment, in a more adult fashion.

i have no qualifications and still knew what to do with a .bin file :p
but its totally different from a matrixreloaded.bin file, for which i do the following:

right click file, hold shift, click delete, answer yet

my :gift: to you

He held down shift while deleting, that bypasses the Recycle Bin.

wow... this thread reminds me of an technology/politics joke:

what do winning the Special Olymics and arguing on the Internet have in common? you're still a retard, even if you win...

and legally, one can record tv/radio/etc so long as it isn't rebroadcast, like at a bar or stadium or something larger and more public than one's rec room.

But is putting the recording on the Internet for download considered rebroadcasting it?

Already got one.
Got fddshow. All others suck. Supports all known codecs. And is stable.

What's wrong with downloading a TV show? Just as it's not illegal to tape songs off the radio and listen to them yourself, it's not illegal to record anything that comes into your home by legal means (this includes taping a PPV movie that you pay for - it IS legal). Copying a rented videotape or dvd IS illegal, as would be a CD, but "streaming" content such as music, tv shows, movies, etc. is perfectly fine for private use.

Just as downloading an mp3 of a song you own on cd is legal under the fair use clause of the DMCA, it would apply to tv shows as well, no?

[on topic edit]: I use nero to burn bin/cue. WinImage or Isobuster will extract the mpg from an image. :)
Good point/s there. But i dont think that it is as simple as you are making out.

I havnt personally come accross one before. And likewise, theres probably several file formats youve never heard of but i have.
Having said that though, my qualifications are mostly hardware baced, and not software, so...

I held down nothing thus far. Ive just left it on the HD. It`ll probably stay there till i can get it working.
