how do i use the awardflash.exe program?

i've been trying to update my bios.. but each time i get to that purple/green awardbios screen, i see the name of the new bios in the box.. but i can't do anything!?!? How do i get it to actually flash the bios? i'm on an iwill kk266, and i set the bios to flashable.. any help?
 
are you overclocked while trying to flash the bios? You shouldn't be.
steps
1) reboot and go into bios and change it to make it flashable -make sure you're not overclocked
2) reboot and hold the control key to boot to dos mode
3) go to the correct directory where your bios and awdflash program is
4) type awdflash /cc /cd /cp "filename" where filename is xxxx.bin
5) that should do it
