How Do I unlock a 1700+ Above 12.5?

How Do I unlock a 1700+ T-Bred B Above 12.5? I have it running at 12.5 * 141, stable at 1.60V (I just realized that 1.60V is stock and not 1.50V) So now I have this craving to unclock it, since my mobo can't go any higher by FSB(PCI Speeds) than 144Mhz. Thanks in advance. -Calvin.

you'll have to cut one of the L3 bridges...don't quote me on that tho. i wouldn't do it if i were you...i read about someone on here ruining his chip that way.

I'm one of those people... well... I cut the bridges on my 2000 and it's now doing strange things and multiplier is stuck at 9.5x.

Which one do I do? 😛 Cut bridges randomly like ChampionAtTufshop, or cut the last l3 bridge. Cutting makes me nervous, cause i thought the last l3 5bridge was closed... so wouldn't i want to open it? i dunno i'm confused, someone help me. thanks in advance.

link to Workarounds article, explains why and how to enable access to "the other" Multiplier range when castrated mobos can't.
Read Multiplier Code, Tbred and Circuits articles to get an "understanding" of Multiplier Code, Bit Values, bridges etc. End your confusion. (BTW, opening the 5th L3 is one option).
