How do I uncompress these files?

Their suffixes are .001, .002, .003, etc. I would have thought they were rars but there is no .rar file. I know this is a repost, but searching for "file" came up with nothing.

They are .rar files, right click and do 'open with' on the first one and open in in winRAR (the latest version) and it will work.

BTW you'll need the first file in the group to open the rest.(i think this is a winace file format too)

They could be Altiris image files, but I don't think you have Altiris. And I would guess that you don't have image files.

All I have is the numbered files . No .rar and no .ace... I tried opening the .001 file with WinAce. Yes I've been hitting the newgroups .

WinRAR is what you need.

Newsgroups? There's better places than that. And I use a combination of Powerarchiver and WinRAR... when the first one doesn't do the job, Winrar cleans up nicely.

Like I said about, you have to open the .001 file with WinRAR. WinACE won't work.
