Thanks!

Tools>options>maintenance>Store folder.

Now look where the store folder is & copy all the files in the folder to the other machine.

Sweet! Thanks!

What's the best way to copy the folder though. Can I import that file directory to the other computer or do I have to replace it with this one?

I just don't know the process of copying over the files. Do I just copy the whole directory and paste it in the other directory? Do I replace the folder with the other one? I'm not clear on the process.

Many thanks for pointing out the location of the folder contents though.

Or you could go online and do a search for a program called Express Assist, download and use the 15 day trial..it's a nice program...

I believe you have to use OE to import the existing folder - when I have tried just cutting and pasting it causes crashes on startup of OE.

Got it figured out. Thanks! It's easy when you have the two computers networked. All I had to do was import the folder, choose which version of OE was on the other computer and since it wasn't on this computer, I entered the path name of the other folder. I clicked on it and it asked me which messages I wanted, I selected all and it transferred everything over. Pretty painless. :)

Thanks again,

Sal

PS. Now I have to figure out how to transfer my favorites from IE. Can't be that tough though. ;)

Here is how I do it.

Go to windows file
then aplication data file
then identities
then open the long number file
then open microsoft file
then open outlook express file
here is where all of your old e-mails send and recieved are at, also subscribed newsgroups etc

I save the contents of this last file "outlook express" and then paste in other outlook programn . All my sent-received e-mail, pics in e-mail etc are here.

This may not be the best way of doing it but it works for me. I have every e-mail from last 3 years even through several disasters on computer.
