I feel bad b/c his parents know and my parents know (his parents love me to death and my parents love her as well), yet he has no clue. I'd rather just sit down and tell him in person before he hears it through the grapevine, but I won't be able to meet with him until the weekend. And calling him to tell him about it just seems so impersonal.

Or should I just not say anything and let him find out on his own?...nah that sounds like a bad idea!!:p He'd probably murder me!!

What's the best approach?

Ask him what you should name his nephew

What make you think that he doesn't know?
What do you take your best friend for?
After all you are his best friend & the girl is his sis.

It's posted earlier in the thread.

Phew, he just called me back. He said congratulations and that he'd make this ONE exception for me.

He said that he had sorta been noticing it for the past few months anyway. he said that he knows that I will take good care of her and she of me.

What a load off and what a friend!!!

Our Ace Reporter should 'update' the title and first post. Although it may prevent others from reading further in and enjoying some of the responses here....
