flick your wrists in front you . hold your hands in fist (don't hold hard) and then expand outward and spread your fingers. You must stretch then pretty well. do this like 100 times...if you can get up that high. in the beginning do it slow because you won't have coordination, but as you get more and more strong you can do it faster. you'll definitely feel it in your fingers, wrists, and forearms. do it 3x a week and you'll be fine

You can't strengthen the wrist because its not a muscle. When I took karate they made us do nuckle pushups and said it strengthened the wrists but one day I realized that it is the forearm muscles that do the work, the wrist is a just a joint of bones and tendons.

I think you're looking for grip strength. Try the farmer's walk with dumbbells that have duct tape wrapped around the handle to make it extra thick.

Most of us don't do this double-fisted. A normal technique will result in asymetrical development.

The OP didn't make the mistake of asking for hypertrophy of the wrist joint. Obviously the muscles are extrinsic to the joint, and you can increase the force of wrist flexion/extension/supination/pronation by targeting them, which is what most of the replies are about.

Neither did he ask how to increase the force of wrist flexion/extension/supination/pronation. He asked how to strengthen his wrists. They are not the same.

Yeah i was gonna say that, theres no muscle there to strenghen. What i do to strengthen my forearm is sit down, get a dumbell, and rest my elbow on my knee, using only my wrist to lift the thing up and down. Your not gonna move it very far with only the wrist but its fine, your forearm should hurt after 30-40 reps dependant on the weight/strength of your arm.

I suppose the problem is that he doesn't know what he's asking for.

Slap as many monkeys as you can, or move to a farm and choke some chickens. That will surely make them stronger...
