How do i start out learning to map counter-strike maps.

I have a bold idea to make my high school gym room...It was inspired from this map.

I was playing with world craft 3.3 and i can't even make a box...the tutorials at this place are down...

is it hard to map? and how long would it take to learn?

Why not switch to Urban Terror for the Quake 3 engine? You can get good tools and info on mapping from QE Radient, Planet Quake and many others linked to from them.

Urban Terror... I could never get into it myself.

As for HL/CS mapping, I wish I could help, but I currently just don't know. Sorry 🙁

becareful when making a map that is to mimic a real area. The PC-police will come down on you hard.
